Did you move the security key to z-way? Are you able to actuate them already?

Under expertUI go into device/your device ID and get to expert command. There you should see all the command classes the device supports and you can play from there. There is a command class named UserCode where you can set codes. I don't seem to be able to "get" them though.

I can share my spreadsheet and your mileage may vary on the savings depending on your installation. I have a pretty large installation so...
For APs, I moved to wifi6 using the Engenius EWS377AP which has a 2.5G uplink. Got 3 for $200 each and I discovered they doubled speed and coverage allowing to use one less than unifi UAP-AC-HD/SHD/XG of which I had for and priced ranged from $300-$750.
    I replaced:
US XG6-POE ($599) with a Zyxel XS1930-12HP ($999) but double the number of ports, POE capacity and half the problems.
    USW-24Pro-POE ($699) with Netgear MS510TXPP ($260)
US8-60W ($120) with Zyxel GS1200-8HP ($54) (for areas not needing multigig)
    US8-150W ($200) with Netgear MS5120TXPP($260)

I reused all of my wiring which is ~20y old CAT5 but of good quality. Probably better than most cheap CAT8 being sold out there (pure copper, low gauge, STP)

Covd19 work from home situation has accelerated this upgrade along with gigabit internet...

OK, so i got libcrypto in finally, heres the info i didn't find in the previous posts:
After installing Multiarch support (ref. @DesT):

    sudo apt-get install multiarch-support

    download the file from https://packages.debian.org/jessie/amd64/libssl1.0.0/download

    Then do this:

    sudo apt install /*download directory*/libssl1.0.0_1.0.1t-1+deb8u12_amd64.deb

Now on to the curl f**up.. 🙂

Hmm possibly. But I don't know for sure. The recommendation was even to temporarily change region so as to prevent any noise from interrupting the upgrade process. I don't know why they don't have a better way to not be impacted by the RF signals during the upgrade on these newer firmwares.

Yeah I felt I had to test it since I personally requested the SDK update from @Poltos

It doesn't show up on the device menu list? It will not show up in the control screen obviously. This would be rather odd. I have never see this behavior, neither myself nor on the zwave.me official forum.

One other possibility is that it requires S2 and you would need to follow the S2 process from the smart home UI. Generally if it says device found and does nothing, it either means the device is already included in the list or that it is expecting something else (ie. key exchanges) to happen. Either way, the device should be displayed in the device list.

    @sender
I have auto configure to off and while I wait the summer for more time and promote my zway to primary, I'm using it as secondary to configure devices. I can fiddle with parameters and prevent reboots.

So, as rafale said, it's OK for configuration parameters, not for wakeup and such.

When I first setup this mini-PC I was lazy and never get rid of Windows, but all the stuff is in my Linux VM. Since I'm running Hyper-V, USB cannot be remapped and the easiest path is to offer ZWay from Windows.

I'll probably change this mini PC, since it doesn't support auto boot on power failure, and go with Windows+WSL2 (Windows Subsystem on Linux) in the future.

This is the process for ubuntu 18+ on a x86 machine:

    sudo systemctl stop z-way-server sudo apt-get -y install libcurl3 sudo cp /usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/libcurl.so.4 /usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/libcurl.so.3 sudo apt-get -y install libcurl4 libcurl4-openssl-dev sudo systemctl start z-way-server

I did not need in my VM case but it can’t hurt and certainly can help other installations.
Thanks for the input! It’s updated.

Edit: I read and reponded too fast the first time.

    It is the first line.
    1 byte = 8 bit = 2 Hex characters.
Thus the hex pair. English is so confusing for this.

So it is only the first line which contains 16 Hex Pairs or the first 16 Bytes. This file contains 48 pairs. or 48 bytes or 384bits
