Curious to know if anyone play with Z-Uno to create some "z-wave sensors"

I did, it was a learning experience and great if you love coding ( I don't but did it so I could appreciate ZUNO further).
ZUNO has it's uses but it is currently unavailable.
The documentation is considerable and the developers are easy to access using the ZUNO section of the Z-Way forum.
If you can locate a ZUNO, give it a bash...you might be surprised.

These are great not just for sensors, but also to ZWave-ify existing equipment in cases where a simple dry relay ZWave switch won't cut it. I had a few motorized transom windows with IR remotes, that can also be controlled through some weird industrial serial protocol. I build controllers for them using ZUNO boards, so I can now control the windows through OpenLuup.
