Logitech logic

Hello lovely people. Long time and all that. Hope you're all doing OK.
Bit of a left field one here, looking for extra eyes more than an answer and you're the most logical bunch I know
Part of our HA system is a Logitech Elite hub and remote control.
This is programmed to control my Cyrus Stereo, our TV, and HDMI switch and our Virgin V6 box.I've been away for a couple of days. Got back this evening to (eventually) work out that the V6 box appears to be not accepting any commands from the Logitech.
Everything has been rebooted.
Logitech uses IR to control
Cyrus: Fine
TV: Fine
HDMI: FineRemote control uses Bluetooth to control Hub.
All commands from the Remote to the hub are executed (one might assume correctly) as the activity LED responds, and if you're controlling (say) the Cyrus, all works fine.iOS App can be used to control Hub over the WLAN:
All commands from the App re executed (one might assume correctly) as the activity LED responds, and if you're controlling (say) the Cyrus, all works fine.Native remote (that uses as far as I know bluetooth) to control the V6 box works fine.
V6 box refuses to acknowledge any command other than from the native remote. Remote or app provoke absolutely zero response from the V6 box.
This is annoying, but damned if I can think of any logical reason. One might assume a firmware update on the V6 box, but given that the Hub simply emulates the native remote, that seems unlikely.
I'm struggling to think of where even to start troubleshooting this, so any random thoughts would be appreciated.
My initial approach is to buy another hub in case there's a different radio set that's failed in the hub...
TIA!

Is the V6 box in direct sight of the Hub or do you use a IR extender just for that? Did that unplug or die? Else, I have no idea. I just hope my harmony keeps working for many many years (knock wood)

@Pabla Should have been clear, chap. It was all working well.
Current status:
Much time on line with Logitech (including the bit about the Hex code which I told them to stopm being stupid. If it was working fine yesterday, and it's still in their database, it's not that)So here it is:
The V6 box can use RF (bluetooth I assume) OR IR remote commands. Neat trick for hiding the box in a cupboard.Lots of diagnostics this evening with Virgin:
Pair a remote for RF: All is well
Unpair and force IR (which is all the Logitech can handle) Nada. Not with the Logitech, not with an IR only Virgin remote, not with the combined remote.Current status: Waiting for a replacement V6 box since Virgin think the IR side of things has fallen over. I'd pretty much got to that point with Logitech 90 minutes earlier, but sometimes you need to play the rules.
Will update when the box arrives (but I'm away for a couple of weeks so unlikely to be able to test and set up for a while) but thanks, both, for the thoughts!

@CatmanV2 Ahhh I see then it could be a faulty unit if the OEM remote doesn't work in IR mode!
I also had no clue Logitech still provided support for the Harmony products! Really wish they kept the Harmony line around, was a great product.
Side note if anyones interested, I did find a reasonable alternative to the Harmony its called The Remote 3 from Unfolded Circle. Much more expensive but the HW and SW looks to be much better than Harmony. I have one on pre ordered to see if these will eventually replace my 6 Harmony remotes. (sorry for the thread hijack

Just to close this off, new unit installed today and we now have IR back up and running. Even more remarkably despite having to reconfigure my TV activity from scratch in the Harmony app, both Alexa and HASS appear to have managed to remain functional.
Logitech were always the bees knees for Universal remote products but at some point they will turn the servers off
No apology needed for the Hijack. I'm off to look!C
