Sensative Strips Guard not showing status in MSR
-
Patrick,
Have a Strips Guard installed in HA and it is not showing the attributes in MSR. Also not showing up in zwavejs. What info do you need. Device ID is 82 in my logs if you are looking for it.
In Home assistant under devices I see this.In Entities in MSR I see this for zwaveJS:
It is not even showing the name:
Is Entities for HASS I see this:
I cannot create a reaction on the door opening and closing because MSR does not see the Access Control: - window/door is open.
When I open and close the door, I am not seeing any changes in the Entities page even though the door shows open and closed in the devices page of HA.I did just install it and moved it do a different part of the house, running a heal on it so that might be part of it, but since HA is seeing the change I would expect MSR to also see it.
Thanks,
Roger -
Sent you a link to upload your Hass data. Also working on zwavejs (with data I already have).
Did you restart Reactor after adding the device? If not, try that, and then look and see if the door sensor entity was created.

@rogero It comes right up for me when I load your data in my system:

Yeah, I think the names assigned by Hass for new devices are a bit sketchy, unstable. I find this particularly true if zwavejs isn't up and running when Hass starts.
Speaking of zwavejs... download the latest
zwavejs_data.zip
from the download server and drop that (don't unzip -- drop the single ZIP file) into yourconfig
directory and restart Reactor. See if that fixes the zwavejs side of things. -
Well that doesn't give me much to go on, especially since you never explained how or why you think it's not working in the first place. Going to need a little more from you here, @RogerO
