Changes to iblinds showing in HASS but not in zwavejs
-
Hello Patrick,
Currently running zwavejs-220080. and 2022.3.7 of HA.
Was moving my MSR script to use zwave JS directly on my iblinds instead of HA. Once I switched the reaction, they stopped working. Doing some digging I see that while monitoring values in entities, the blinds under HASS update while the blinds under zwavejs do not see the changes. Let me know what info you need. Are you seeing anything in the logs you download? Thanks,

Can you be more specific here? What attributes are you looking at that you expect to change but do not? Do any attributes change?

OK. The last snapshot I have from your ZWaveJSController is dated yesterday, and zwavejs had not initialized the blinds device at that time, so I have no data for it. I need you to restart Reactor only -- do not restart zwavejs. It should send me that data. Let me know when you've done the restart.

I'm on it...

If you delete the entity (delete button in the Entites page detail for it) and then restart Reactor, refresh browser, does the entity come back, or does it vanish?

It's OK. It's just a verification of what I think I'm seeing here. I'm pretty sure I have it. Will spin a new release momentarily...
Release 22083 (zwavejs branch) is up. Give it a try when you can.

Hi Patrick,
So, done some testing and while the changes are mirrored in entities correctly changing the position value in zwavejs does not respect the value input. If I put in .88 it closes facing down to the stop and if I but in .44 it closes facing up to the stop. Setting the same parameter with HASS behaves as it should. -
Try downloading this ZIP file and dropping it in your
config
directory (do not UNZIP it, just put the ZIP file in there directly). Restart Reactor and try again.https://reactor.toggledbits.com/download/zwavejs/zwavejs_data.zip

Awesome! Enjoy your round.
