Support for 3rd party Vera plugins ?
-
@toggledbits Great!

Don't sweat it. Let me take a look and give a mapping a try. Just keep in mind, I don't have the device, so I'm flying totally blind--I can build, but I can't test. I rely on your hands and eyes for that.
-
Dont worry, I was refering to your comment "...mappings for color lights, which were incomplete...". We will take us on the Harmony when it comes

Can confirm that Vera Reactor has Harmony support. You’re able to start/end activities and send device commands too
Sounds promising if it already works in Reactor plugin for Vera.
In addition I'd need to be able to also tell which Harmony Activity is currently active? Or if the Power Off activity is active etc.

The AltHue plugin works fine as well
In MSR or in the Reactor plugin for Vera?

Yes the AltHue plugin.
Yes I see my Hue lamps listed in the Entities
I can turn them on and off and control other basic stuff.
But can't see how to initiate a hue scene for example.
-
Ok Hue scenes I missed that. That is probably not implemented yet
-
AltHue lamps in Vera are standard Vera RGB dimmer devices are they not. That is why they are working now with MSR for basic controls.
However I don't think any of the AltHue plugin specific functions have been implemented yet in to MSR.

As @rigpapa said, he needs to map them.
Since we're at it, I think both my VeraAlexa and VeraTelegram plug-ins are good candidate as a native MSR plug-in, since they could be written as node.js/bash script. Virtual HTTP Devices plug-in is using standard services, so we should be good.
-
Indeed.
I'm not currently using your Telegram Vera plugin, I'm just sending out HTTP requests from Vera also now from MSR, to their Cloud API / my Telegram account.
MSR Doesn't natively support Telegram messenger either by the looks of it.

And that’s ok if you want to send text only, but images/videos could be complex, since you need to send a file as well.
