OpenLuup IP Address
-
The easiest way to fix this is to go into your home router and make a reservation for the IP for the Android box so that it never expires/changes. Another way would be to set it up as a fixed IP and not DHCP in the router. Exactly how to do this differs slightly on the type of router you have, but generally it is quite easy.

That is very strange, but has nothing to do with openLuup as far as I know. I think you must look for what is causing this in your Debian or network.
Looks like you have something in your network that is redirecting your local network through the internet since 217.3.79.1 is not a private but public ip-address

This. It's a Deutsche Telecom IP range. @Elcid what are you putting into your browser to access OpenLuup?
What happens if you try on 192.168.1.xx?

Not quite sure what you’re trying to achieve here?
If you’re planning on using the ZWay plugin, then only ZWave.me and a UZB will do, AFAIK.
@akbooer , Good to know cheers
I am attempting to see if i can run this all on Debian running on an Android box with Z-wave. via Zway plugin. Debian is all new to me so I have a learning curve to ascend. Really looking at all option now as Ezlo/Vera may not be my flavour, time will tell.I have been reading alot and once i get a dongle i will look at loading the dependant libraries on the Debian.
Be warned i may have a few more questions.

I'm confused by 'Debian running on an Android box...'
Bit like saying Windows running on an OSX box. Unless you're virtualising it, which of course you might, just can't see why (or actually how given the little I know about Android and the rather more I know about Debian)Debian was always my Go-to OS back in the late 90s and early 2000, until I moved to OS X in 2006. I still run three Debian variants around the house on Pis

No still running android and dabien can still use all android system apps etc, Andronix installs debian and you can have a ui or termux window. It also restart after reboot and reloads OpenLuup. No issues at present, As said will be playing to see if i can insall zway.
