I've managed to use MSR UI on iOS devices to some degree*, so that although UI elements (e.g. rule sets) are not visible in portrait mode, you've seen them in landscape. Now with recents builds (24302) this does not work anymore, elements (rule sets, entities) are not anymore visible in landscape mode.
Does anyone have similar experiences? Using iOS 18 and Safari/Chrome browser.
( *Drag & drop of rule conditions have never worked on a mobile)

In Home Assistant I sometimes uses the TTS, either to my Sonos or Google speakers. With reactor in Vera I also use TTS.
But in MSR I can't select the TTS-service. It's simply not there. Am I missing something, or is this the case, so far?

I have just connected a bunch of EzloPi controllers to MSR to import some ESP based devices etc.
They all seemed to have worked and imported in to MSR apart from I have one missing device. It is a Digital Gas Sensor device.

Local expressions cannot be deleted. Pushing the X button has no effect for me.
When cloning an entity action, the result is strange (first is cloned one, second is the original action):

Dark theme has a couple of strange contrasts. One is visible in the previous screenshots (white text on yellow background). Another one is in groups (blue text on blue background):

Overall, I found blue, yellow, red and green (in buttons and forms) to be too bright.

I just upgraded to version MSR 24293, bare metal running on Fedora. Upon restart, I am getting a error banner:

Seems like switching the UI to the newly added dark mode (thank you for this) does nothing. The UI stays in light mode and only a few buttons turn into dark mode (see screenshot)

Good morning,
I have a service MQTT service that needs a restart occasionally. The add-on (Smartbed MQTT) is for the smart bed base for my bed. It has a "safety light" that I can control from HAAS & MSR as a light entity, and also moves the head of the bed to a preset at bedtime, and then lies it back flat in the morning The problem is, from time to time, the light becomes "unavailable" Restarting from the Add-ons tab in HAAS always fixes it, but I should be able to detect when it happens when "light.tempur_pedic_safety_lights" is not true or false, i.e., unavailable.
What I don't know how to do is how to restart that service. Does anybody have experience in restarting add-ons from MSR?

I'm working on a controller to generate llm response from a prompt in reactor. I have http response coming thru an http request action at the moment, capturing the response inside a local variable. So, it's practically sync.
I want to create a controller, so I don't have to rely on a proxy (and have a simpler architecture), and duplicate absurd http actions, but AFAIK in the current implementation, actions are async only. But if I have multiple requests going on, I cannot be sure what it's really inside an attribute. I also thought that something like a correlation id when sending the request could be used to identity multiple responses, but I wanted to double check with you before starting with something too complicated. I also noticed that some actions in home assistant (ie forecast) are sync and I'm wondering if you have any plan or hint to address this situation. Thanks.

@togglebits I am curious as to why the tilt_sensor.state (primary) = NULL. I believe it should show true or false. I have to use binary_sensor.state instead in my rules.
Again, not sure if this is related to Reactor/ZwaveJSController implementation or the actual Z-Wave JS UI docker version. I have copied, below, the attributes of the tilt sensor in hopes it can help.

I have mapped my most useful devices, but I'll add others soon. Feel free to ask for specific templates, since I've worked a lot in the last weeks to understand and operate them.
The templates are supporting both init and query, so you have always up-to-date devices at startup, and the ability to poll them. Online status is supported as well, so you can get disconnected devices with a simple expression.

Did you hear back from the Ezlo devs with the needed information for this? Or have you just gone ahead and used the learned knowledge from the forum ?
My Atom is now at firmware version 0.8.539. However I am not totally sure if its a gen1 or gen2 Atom? I think its gen2 but not sure.
Its still not appearing in the MSR Entities area however.
I have tried with "set_anonymous_access: true" commented out and not commented out in the reactor.yaml file.
I can't see anything in the MSR log to do with the Atom controller only the Ezlo Plus controller.

I have heard nothing from the eZLO devs on anything. That's business as usual. Everything I've done, everything that everyone has done, in this respect has been done based on hearsay and tribal knowledge, no specifications or documentation from eZLO. May stop working at any time.
Sounds like you have a Gen1 atom. You have to configure for cloud/remote access, it doesn't switch back and forth automatically. That involves just commenting out the
source
field. If thesource
field is not present, then theEzloController
uses remote access to get to the device. But, there's bug that leaked in the remote access login that I just fixed. Are you on a docker container or bare metal install?The
set_anonymous_access
field is not available for Atom and PlugHub; it is not supported on these platforms. -

I did try to comment out the source line earlier. I just tried again now. I also have set_anonymous_access commented out.
The serial number of the Atom and the username and password look OK. Restarted MSR but still nothing in entities.
If I login to https://home.getvera.com/ with same username and password I can see that Atom listed in the controllers.

OK. Since it's a minor change, I just patched the build. Re-download the build package and reinstall it for the update. Then, you should be able to start with
source
commented out and get remote access.Once you have it connected, look at the system entity (the one with ID "system" matching the controller ID, like
atom>system
), and there is ahardware
attribute that tells you the generation of Atom. -
Its connected now and has imported the devices and scenes from the Atom in to entities area.

That's gen2, so you may have local access. If you want to use local access, your Atom needs a stable IP address (static or DHCP reserved). You can put that into the
source
field (uncomment now), and also setdisable_ecc_ciphers
totrue

This may or may not work for you. My rev2 Atom is on firmware 0.8.798, and it allows remote access. I don't have an Atom with 0.8.539 that is at rev2, so I don't know if rev2 will work at that firmware level. I do have a rev3 Atom at 0.8.539, and it does allow remote access, so I think it should, but we'll see...

Done that.
I cleared the alert and restarted MSR. It hasn't come back again as yet.
And I can still see the Ezlo Atom items in entities.

The yellow warning alert hasn't come back again since adding disable_ecc_ciphers: true to the reactor.yaml flie.
And I uncommented the source line. The Atom already has a DHCP reserved LAN IP.

Don't uncomment the username and password. That only works for Plus/Secure hubs with anonymous access enabled. Atoms do not support anonymous access, so it is still necessary to get the access tokens from the cloud, even when connecting to the Atom locally.

Supposedly 24 hours from what I can see. An expiration is given when the token is acquired. I haven't observed that there is any consequence to the expiration being met, though... it appears that access continues even after the token's expiration time/date. My presumption would be that access terminates when the token expires. Looks like more unfinished work there at eZLO to me.
Any disconnect will cause a reconnect retry.

I'm inclined to agree with you.
I have a token obtained by using Renes python script for my Ezlo Plus for use with curl commands and I bet that same token still works today I will have to try it again.
Token was probably obtained 12 months ago maybe.
