iPhone Locator error
-
Evening. Not sure if we have an equivalent section here, but since 1730 June 2nd iPhone locators are spitting out 'Google has returned an error'
Nothing changed at my end.
APPId and code are still there. What have I broken, or have Google changed? Anyone know
TIA
C
-
In fact WTF are Google doing anyway. I was using Here....
C
-
Hmmmm, so re-installed the Here version. It now gives the location, but whenever I try to change the settings on a phone, or access the map it throws a
Error executing function iphone_Map():And I cannot delete the API key that I had. Looks like I may have a couple of messed up versions
C
-
Ok that is weird. Are you using the Here map version? Maybe it is my fault for not having changed the error message text.
-
No I think it auto updated....
C
-
ahh yeah that would do it... have to uncheck the auto update...
-
Done that now. I guess I need to re-create my phone instances as well?
C
-
best to restore from backup...If you have one from just before the autoupdate.
-
Nah, done a shed load of work since then.....
Migrated everything from scenes to Reactor today! Error started about a week ago
C
-
Then yeah, recreate the instances of the plugin. It shouldn't be too bad. Get iCloud accounts logged in and the here map keys.
-
Sadly not. Brand new device and I can't access anything:
Error executing function iphone_Settings():
Any ideas? It's not like we're going anywhere
C
-
Anything else in the error message? It's pointing to a JS function but not sure what the error could be.
It's been a long time since I fiddled with it... so I will need to refresh memory. -
AltUI is somewhat more informative

This looks like you are missing the J_IPhone.js file?
-
ok the change is a minor bug fix. Let me apply it to the Here and Bing map versions
-
I had the js file and uploaded another copy, but I'll wait for your fix.

I just posted the update 2.52x on github... As for you errors, it is looking for functions which are in the J_IPhone.js file. It is either missing the file or the pointer to it. Make sure that all the files are present in the vera: Run the full update from the vera app store and then drop in the files from GitHub.
-
Just the J_Iphone.js and the L_Iphone.lua
Done that and no better.
If I download from the 'develop Apps' I get a Here version.
'Arse' I think is the word.
Delete the plugin and try from scratch?
Cheers
