  • Anyone using the Yamaha plugin currently? I installed it from the AltAppStore and put in the IP in the Attribute field but it never connects to it. This was working fine on the Vera side.

  • If you mean the "Yamaha RX HTTP" plugin then it works under openLuup. If you have problems; turn on the plugin debug and post the log.

  • Is that in the Variables section? Mine is blank right now

  • The DebugEnabled flag should be available in the variables section. Have you restarted openluup and your browser a couple of times? In openLuup you can see the log(s) easy enough:

    Even without the debug enabled, the logs should tell you something. Make your you check the "startup_log" as well as the others.

  • Here's what I found in the log when installing the plugin.

    2020-11-22 12:52:18.628   openLuup.chdev:: [string "L_YamahaRxHTTP1.lua"]:40: module 'lxp' not found:

  • Are you on RPi ?

    You need to install the LuaExpat library:

    sudo apt-get install lua-expat

  • Running it on Ubuntu 20. I’ll give that a shot anyway

  • That worked! Thanks @akbooer

  • Logs are are "good".
