The mission statement one i clicked and when i returned it had gone. I could not do the same with darkmode. @DesT removed the other from mobile view, which i appreciate. They are still at bottom of desck top view , but not as annoying there.

@rafale77 , yes it tends to be the middle of the thread or possible the position the 2nd to last time i viewed the thread. It is annoying and will be hell with threads in there 100's.

guys.... the orange box will always be there except on mobile. There's no "click and hidden" feature!

All the "sidebar" widget, 2x orange box + forum stats are hidden on mobile to keep the essential.

Officially, you can't! But I think the "dark mode" I can remove it, it's there to help people with the new theme and the new night mode...

The first unread works sometimes... like the others are reporting, it often also takes me to the middle of the thread, very rarely to the top. Not sure what is going on with it.

I think that, the "first unread", is related to a "timeout" on how long you are reading. I would need to ask more detail about that to the "nodeBB" team!

Well it makes no sense to me, and behaves differently from every other forum I use or have used. Would love to hear what they say

I agree with @Elcid. I will simply remote it, if possible. I'm a fan of minimalism and on a community forum that's even more important. Thanks for the hard work @DesT !

@Elcid I did some test and looks like your issue is coming from a conflict with the old theme on the forum! Can you try the same thing using "Incognito mode" ?

From the screenshot, looks like with the width of your browser, you should be in "mobile view" and the sidebar shoud completely be hidden

I did something now!
I disable the last orange box and I will try to put the mission of the forum in the footer. And I change the last widget (stats) to be visible only to super moderator team!

@DesT, yes i am in mobile view. Here is screenshot in mobile view from cognito. There is no light bulb dark mode option. Browser firefox

The light bulb in mobile is under the "burger menu" that you don't have in screenshot 'cause you are too wide to see it.
BUT, one thing for sure. You are having a "cache" issue 'cause you are having item on the left side that are supposed to be under your "avatar" at the top right icon!

You should really try to reload the forum/page and force an empty cache! In Firefox you can try to hit F12 to display the DEV tools and then F5 to reload the page!

F12 again to hide the DEV tools

No sign of a hamburger.

I cleared cache and refreshed when you changed dark mode, as the forum would not load. once i did forum loaded fine.
I have done it again to be sure. This is mobile firefox so f12 and f5 have no effect.

The menu on left only appears when i drag left any where on screen.So copy and paste is a problem

Edit/ the menu problem has cleared its self.
