If that can help.... the "TEST" rule I created 2 days ago for you, I'm able to delete it BUT any other rules I can't... maybe it's related to changing/removing a rule that it's not the last one...

I can do some more testing if you want!

@therealdb Yes. Sorry it's sometimes tricky for me to know / recall which bits of my system 'belong' to whom!

    Cheers as ever

OK thanks. Much hacking it turns out it was unhappy with the cookie (for no clear reason, and despite multiple replacements)
Went old skool, changed password, new browser, new cookie and we're good.

    Many thanks!

@toggledbits Okay clear, thanks for your quick reply!

What about SiteSensor and select response type Generic (text). How can I define a "response pattern to match" in the next field.

It's good to know it's possible within Reactor Sensor but it would be easier (I hope...) to solve it within SiteSensor.

    Solved!
    The bugs were in 2.3.
Could not update the app within Vera as 2.3 is the latest version.
Had never updated files manually before, but used your latest Beta that seems to work.

I suppose the remaining problem is that the documentation makes one believe that the power functions work with 2.3. Two alternatives:

either update the app (best) or comment the documentation

    Anyway, thank you!

    You had other issues too…?

(I hesitate to ask, but you did mention it at the start!)

I did, but they were Z-wave server and I appear to have managed to resolve them 🙂

THIS IS GREAT!! You've made it very clear, thank you so much. I'm going to try it right now. Thank you for the detailed instructions. Reactor is a great plug-in!

Bill, I'm going to lock this topic and continue the conversation in the other topic you have already opened for this question. Please keep a single issue threaded in a single topic.

After upgrade everything works fine. @toggledbits Thanks again for the quick response.
@amg0 When there is a new version of altui I always get an automatic notification. Can't I turn that off?

FWIW Alexa appears to have finally succumbed to the Octet 9 numbering issue. Although not all devices. And, of course, the horrific "caching" that Amazon uses.

However, the stuff I need is working again....

@buxton said in Virtual Sensor Polling:

I suppose I got the idea from the documentation.

What you've read there is a subsection from the section on how the simulator operates. That doesn't apply to child sensors and Virtual Sensor's value-copy feature.
