Master Dimmer using expression?

"Expression substitution using ${{...}} should be work in Reactions"
Have I set this up incorrectly? Because its not working as I expected.
I have a virtual dimmer device in Vera, this is the "Master Dimmer" and then I have two real table side lamps, these are the "Slaves"
Starting point: Both lamps are OFF and the "Master" dimmer device is also OFF.
I then move the "Master" dimmers slider in Vera to 50% both real lamps then also are changed to 50%
Great I thought it was working.
However any subsequent changes made on the "Master" dimmer devices slider in Vera, the two real lamps then no longer follow suit and they do not change at all anymore.
Thanks
EDIT: Actually its doing other weird stuff as well. So don't think this is setup correctly.

Setup appears good. I found the problem. It's causing the substitution values on Entity actions to not update after the first run. PR #89. Will be fixed in today's build.

Updated MSR to 0.1-21068 and now its working.
When operating the "Master" dimmer virtual device in Vera, ON / OFF / Dim / Brighten etc, the two real side lamps "slaves" then follow suit.
However as I was expecting its not instant, there is some lag between controlling the master and the lamps changing to the same state.
The lamps are Philips Hue bulbs with the AltHue plugin, so that won't help either.
Thanks

Any plugin-driven device is going to be slower by definition, and Hue also has to communicate with the hub to communicate with the device, so that can't help. I benchmark MSRs performance against native ZWave devices only, FYI. Anything else has too many external variables that I can't control or improve upon (in fact, I can't even improve on ZWave, but it's at least "native" to the system).
