VeraBridge not auto connected after reboot Pi4
-
I am using openluup on a raspberry pi 4. After restarting the Pi4, openluup and altui start automatically according to the settings in Appendix: Start OpenLuup during system startup (openLuup user manual). Everything works perfectly only I still have to manually run a reloading luup engine to reconnect the VeraBridge. Is this normal or is something going wrong?
I am using this option “openLuup Start at boot with Systemctl on Raspberry Pi by groundglass”.

Not much information there but if I was to guess, it is due to your rPi's network driver not yet being fully loaded when openLuup starts.
How are you auto starting openLuup? through init.d or systemd?if using systemd, you can set a dependency in the startup script so it waits:

Great news! ... told you there were experts here who could help you!
I'm just surprised it's me
TBH it probably wouldn't have been except I had to rebuild my miniNDLA server last week....

...now I'm looking for the same type of utility on a BeagleBone Black running Debian.
Any suggestions?

systemctl enable systemd-networkd-wait-online.service
?
Although it should be enabled by default as far as I can tell
