Just wanted to add that my Vera Bridges stopped working, I can’t be sure exactly when, maybe after a reboot ? But wanted to share here as they were working fine..

The Variable for the RemotePort on both is /port_3480

    Updating to :3480 fixes it..

@akbooer - not sure why this worked first and then stopped..

If the bridge does not detect previously existent devices when the system starts up, then it moves them into Room 101. So a restart should either resolve the issue, if they have appeared again, or you can delete any/all devices using the action described above.

@Buxton OK got the systemd stuff working - thanks for that. A of couple notes for future readers:

The script files need to be executable, so the permissions should be set to 0755. the scripts should use \n, not \r\n line endings ie Unix style you need to run this once to get the necessary symlinks built: sudo systemctl enable openluup

After restarting VearEdge and OpenLuup several times (restarting the Pi4), everything is back to normal.
    Thank you for your help.

@rogero said in Get Vera files throwing errors:

Interesting, just noticed that the [icon] files on the RPI are 0 bytes.

    This issue is now solved:

The funny part about instant status... I have a few dimmers (very old leviton) which had instant status through association which did not work with vera... they work now with z-way. Only discovered it in the past couple of days. 😶
    I was quite surprised actually.
