Well that was quick/painless :). Thanks BlackCat!
@DesT - One other thing that would be handy is for code blocks to have a 'click - copy to clipboard' function. Unless I just missed that somehow as well

I would need to check that. Pretty sure for the moment there's no option for that!

I had this too at the very beginning and managed to correlate it to noise in the zwave network "corrupting" the z-way device database. Strangely z-way allows for further command class discovery after interview and inclusions, which enables wrong interview settings when somehow a zwave packet passes the zwave CRC check. I have completely eliminated this problem by reducing the noise on the 900MHz band which z-way enables you to monitor.
It was part of my effort to remove all these crappy power bricks around the controller, using a USB extension cord to move the uzb away from other electronics etc... regardless of this problem, it is a good thing to do anyway to reduce errors, lower retry rates and network improve speed. These are things software can't help with. They are physical RF noise which should be minimized as much as possible. -
Hmmm, not sure I'm that worried given the current stability. I have bigger issues with my Wi-Fi and then Alexa crapping out. But....
What's good? I've got -83 and -89 sBm on my background noise

My background noise varies between undetectable and -91dBm. I see anything above -90dBm as something wrong... But I may be a bit too strict. -83 is definitely on the high side.
-
So this is where all the banned Vera members rejoice.. definitely will be posting here more than the toxic vera community forums
-
Indeed Welcome! We are not "just" discussing vera here as we aim to be platform/hardware independent but indeed a large number of us came from the "old place"
-
Welcome, but honestly, whiskey tango foxtrot? What did you say that got you banned?
-
@toggledbits Nothing yet .. you just don't know what you could say that will get you banned. Not like I am very active on those forums anyways
-
Yup. That's why I'm being pretty aggressive about not having MSR posts over there.

...I just mentioned bicycle wheels!
Anyway, welcome. Glad you're here.
-
He is very sensitive if anyone criticizes his baby, I'm with @akbooer but believe the wheels have already fallen off as there are few devs left on the forum.
It will be at least 2 years before there is a viable marketable product let alone any plugins to replace what will be lost when Vera goes EOL. -
I mean I dont want to turn this into a Vera/Ezlo bashing thread, but their progress rate is snail slow. In a tech market like todays you will fall behind very very quickly (if not already). Any sort of true criticism is met with a ban or very unprofessional responses that come off with a very sassy tone. It is what it is though, we have better platforms to turn to, including ones made by talented devs, aka OpenLuup
-
The whole 'who did you ban today' got the most reactions in months. For some reason totally unclear to me he keeps saying that what is discussed on this forum is 'competition' and luring customers away. Nothing here is something one can buy or anyone here makes money on, so he should better focus on the real competition. (and better QA as every update something breaks, that is still the old Vera way). Any way, it is his company, and we have openLuup
and MSR now of course. I just still lack the time for it all.
Cheers Rene

I have not gone back to the old forum until today to look at that thread. I never cease to amazed. It is what some would call "alt-reality" and we don't seem to be living in the same dimension. If for anything we would be advocates to his business since we are supporting his customers who otherwise would go elsewhere in ways that his company has failed to do albeit suggesting alternatives if we see that there is a dead end. Forum memberships are not mutually exclusive... joining this forum does not mean leaving the other. What "stealing" are we talking about here? Better not get distracted by all this and move on. We have much more interesting things to look forward to: openLuup and MSR running with MQTT and websocket!

My forum account on ezlo site was banned after I flagged several comments as inappropriate, in full accordance with the forum rules. Those comments were abusive and contained personal insults directed at other posters (I was not in any way involved into the discussion). The author’s alias was ‘melih’; these posts/threads have since been removed, but yet my account is stilled banned.
