Hello! My name is Svetlana, I'm a UX/UI designer working on a design for a smart home app. I want to know about the experience of using any smart home application (be it MiHome, Tuya, Home Assistant, etc.) and your own thoughts. If you have a similar experience and want to help, please write to me in private. Your participation will help me make the product better and understand the needs of real users. I'm looking forward to communicating with you! Thank you.
Hi. So when I had my house build I ran a bunch of stuff, one of which being two pairs of speaker wires to each bedroom and to 4 spots around my living room… Over the years I have used them here and there with different success.. But today they sit in my walls just unused.
I converted all the cat6 or 5e (I don’t remember) over to basically eithernet jacks. The cable coaxial well it’s there but now unused. But I was thinking there has got to be some use for two pairs of speaker wires to each room. Can I make them usb plugs? Not sure so looking for ideas.
Thanks in advance for your thoughts on this.
Kevin

Hi @ll, last days I migrated my last zwave device from Vera to zwave js in homeassistant. Out of 150 devices 1 did not go well initially but reinterviewing did it directly. Most work was to find the ex and inclusion procedure, 3 times, click, clack, whatever. I must admit that Vera is Lighting fast!!!!! With only 3 devices left, those were my under the floor switches I had to do last.
Now I am totally gone from Vera, altui, luup, etc. There's nothing more left for me on this forum. And since it was one of my "routine sites" reading I will save a few minutes a day skipping it.
I thank you all for all the kind help, warm words and laughter about the ezlo flop :-).
I hooe you all will be safe and healthy and whish you all the best!
I will stay on the homeassistant forum.
Goodbye!

Those of us who once stood atop the old Forum leaderboard(s) will always be brothers in arms. I made the leap away from Vera to Hubitat last month and could not be happier.
Seeing less of anyone in a home automation forum can only be considered good news, no? :-}
