I'm still not excluded, but I think it's a matter of time until he sees the same profile picture.
I was hoping to be able to test the eZLO plus some more, but given the temperature, i'd rather stay with the "Rafael group".Utterly flabberghasting!
Edit: And there, i'm out too. Should we count how many eZLO plus beta testers he threw out? I have one.
-
Wait... is he... talking about these forums in his own thread? Another rule violation? And with a picture?
-
interesting... I just discovered this.
Not quite sure what part of this is more impressive:
The sheer dishonesty of test environment comparing the systems which I didn't know about until I read that thread or how shamelessly ridiculous and ignorant the ad is since speed was unique problem of the z-wave network management of the vera... yep no other platforms have this kind of problems so speed is definitely not a relevant factor anymore. -
By some chance of accident i’m not just Vera user but my company is also a Vera Dealer
just started off before the pandemic and didnt knew about ezlo controllers and the “monkey” if somebody needs Edge, Plus or Secure brand new let me know i will sell them at cost price plus shipping
P.S. Its EU frequency

@perh Yes, I have an Ezlo Plus too and I actually like it so far. Still a lot to develop before it’s ready for sale and accomplish a bit more advanced automations, and I’d like to see and participate in the progress, but not very motivating when my forum account got suspended.
For what reason? “Forum rules”.
No further explanation or warning! -
I was just thinking, these forums remind me of my earliest days working in startups, when you showed up for an interview and the furniture was clearly from a local thrift shop, the coffee station was a folding table or plywood over two saw horses, and your interview was conducted with all parties in jeans and a t-shirt. In those days, the focus was strictly on the work and bringing something exciting into the market. People of every history and skill were brought together. The CEO worked right next to you and could be seen cleaning the office's only toilet on a Friday night before he went home. And he was there on Saturday, and on Sunday, because we only worked on days ending in "y".
These forums are a refuge. It's a place where technical discussion can lead over corporate policy and the pressure to sanitize and control the view. It's a place where we can take a wide view of the HA market, and not be beholden to one product. We can share success and failure with, and our adulation or bewilderment for, any product in the space. We talk about bugs and needs and challenges. We get work done. We get work done for each other.
This is shaping up to be a really fun community, and I'm excited to be involved. The direction is forward. Onward!

Bravo! Well said.

Well, this probably won't be the last time that someone from there joins us here, but, for the time being, I think it's time to move on.
We have a critical mass of really constructive contributors here, and we should certainly be doing what @toggledbits suggests:
- "a place where technical discussion can lead over corporate policy "
- "take a wide view of the HA market, and not be beholden to one product"
- "We get work done. We get work done for each other."
"Make it so!"
