This arrived today - hope it has enough juice for the uzb.

Shame the cases are sold out everywhere.

The uzb doesn't consume much power so it should be fine.
I will never stop being fascinated by how expensive these rPi accessories are. You can get an actual UPS 10x the capacity for about the same price but it won't be this small. If powering through USB 5V, I actually made a DIY UPS a few years ago using 4 AA NiMH batteries in a small battery box with a cable splitter which worked wonders. Now you are giving me iideas about reusing it.

: ) We get quite a few power cuts - not long generally. What UPS would you recommend? Will be going in to some tightish loft space ..

If you require tiny then you probably got yourself one of the better solutions. Careful with the Li-ion battery though as it relates to heat.
I have a couple of alternatives you could have considered:

May not be this particular one but it should give you an idea. I got I think a set of 3 of these for ~$12.
Then put in 4 NiMH rechargeable batteries in it and plug it with a USB splitter cable. This has served me well in the past to power things like raspberries and hue hubs. The other way if you have a lot of low powered devices to power in all kinds of different places and if they are all going to be connected by ethernet is to go POE. You would get a standard UPS as there are many going on sale on a regular basis, to power a POE ethernet switch and then use a POE splitter (~$10 each) to replace all of the wall warts. I think I posted in the old place that this has the side benefit of dramatically reduced RF noise from all these DC power cables and make your z-wave network more reliable since all these cheap AC-DC power supplies are often of poor quality and generate a lot of noise. I went on rampage a couple of years ago replacing every power supply I could with POE in my house which significantly reduced the noise even measured by the UZB using z-way.

Thanks for that - good to know. Was thinking about putting a switch there too - for the moment it's plugged directly in to the AP. Heat is quite a large concern as the temps get pretty warm in the summer under the roof. That battery hat uses a Mototrola droid battery afaik and was hoping it could deal with it. Then ... there are explosions.
